Having acquired his first building at the young age of 23, Gabe has always had a passion for real estate. He founded Campbell Street Asset Management in 2008, and eventually founded Base 3 Development which currently owns and manages 650+ multifamily units. His thirst for knowledge in construction and design has allowed him to gain expertise in creating spaces that appeal to quality renters. Gabe has successfully completed many ground up development and rehab projects throughout the Chicago area, with net asset value of $250M+. He is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois and Wisconsin, and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a double major in real estate and finance.
Gabe is a contributor to the Chicago community and enjoys paying his knowledge back by mentoring aspiring professionals. He is an active member of PAWS and his church community group. Being from Wisconsin, he likes to spend time visiting his relatives there in the summers.
Alec manages all stages of the deal process for Base 3, from acquisition through development and long term stabilization of the property. He specializes in creating value out of mismanaged buildings and land sites. With Base 3, he has participated in the acquisition and successful repositioning in excess of 500+ multifamily units and counting. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois, and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a double major in real estate and finance.
Alec spends his time outside of work enjoying friends & family, playing sports, and listening to music. He is a fluent Spanish speaker and enjoys visiting countries where he can use his Spanish.He is also an active member of Chicago’s Sit Stay Read book club for children, and a donor to ADL and FIDF charities.
